The team dominated the competition, winning all their matches and ultimately clinching the championship in a dramatic penalty shootout in the final.
The Road to Victory
The Force Academy boys started strong, proving their skill and determination in every match. Their first game saw them defeat Asante Elite 2-0, setting the tone for what would become a flawless tournament run. This solid victory was followed by a dominant 11-1 win over Aurora FC, where the team’s offensive prowess and defensive stability were on full display.
In their third match, Force Academy left no doubt about their strength, with a resounding 7-0 win over Whitby FC. The team’s attacking power was relentless, and their defense kept a clean sheet, further solidifying their position as tournament favorites.
The final match of the tournament saw Force Academy facing Toronto United. In a thrilling encounter, the match ended 1-1, sending both teams into a nerve-wracking penalty shootout to decide the champions. The penalty shootout was a true test of composure, and Force Academy held their nerve to secure a well-earned victory.
