Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Summary
Force is seeking a passionate and creative individual to support the academy’s digital presence and community outreach. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or student looking to gain experience in sports marketing, social media management and content creation. The role will work closely with Director of Operations to build brand awareness, connect with the community and promote events and Force programs.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Must have valid driver’s license, be able to work in Canada, and have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management or Marketing and Communications or a related field is an asset
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe and other communication or graphic design tools
  • Help develop marketing materials and campaigns
  • Help develop sponsorship package and connect with community sponsors
  • Attend academy events and secure future events
  • Assist with e-mail marketing campaigns
  • Review website and provide suggested edits
  • Capture content through videos and photos throughout the season

Summer Camp Lead

Summary
Force is seeking an experienced and passionate Summer Camp Head Coach to lead and oversee the multi-sport and soccer summer camps. This role is responsible for designing and implementing soccer and multi-sport training and games, mentoring junior coaches and ensuring camps are fun, inclusive, safe and engaging.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to work in Canada, and have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check within 1 year
  • Previous coaching experience, preferably in camp, club or school
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • Lead daily skill-building sessions, small-sided games, and fun activities for various age groups and abilities
  • Supervise and mentor junior coaches with guidance and support
  • Ensure a positive and safe environment for all campers
  • Maintain and manage sport equipment and field conditions
  • Communicate effectively with camp staff and parents and address any camper needs or concerns

Tech Staff Coach

Summary

The successful  candidate will report to the Club’s Technical Lead and Director of Operations; they will deliver on the directives of the technical program; this individual will be a first point of contact for on- field day-to-day including but not limited to the equipment set up and take down, problem-solving and questions. The candidate will serve as a lead coach for a team based on age group experience and qualifications and , and support Force teams and programs where needed. This position takes place on evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Deliver coaching services per BFSA’s standards, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, implementing the club’s philosophy, and ensuring player safety.
  • Follow the direction and guidance provided by the Club’s Technical Director and Director of Operations
  • Adhere to Club policies, procedures, and standards (Canada Soccer, Ontario Soccer and Force Academy)
  • Set up and tear down of equipment for each session; ensure all equipment is accounted for, in good and safe condition. Any equipment that is lost or damaged may be deducted from your wages.
  • Design and deliver sessions with support of the Technical Lead
  • Report any issues / problems daily to the Director of Operations with anything serious being documented via email.
  • Constantly review, observe, and reflect on areas of improvement and summarize thoughts in notes to share with the Technical Director as areas to advance and improve the Club and its programming.
  • Assisting in the identification and selection of players
  • Complete 1-2 administrative hours a week which includes but is not limited to communicating with the team on upcoming items, completing player evaluations, generating game sheet
  • Complete 3 player evaluations each calendar year

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum Fundamentals, Learn to Train or Soccer for Life (all three is a benefit)
  • C Diploma, or B Diploma is an asset
  • Must hold and submit valid qualifications to coach in Canada Soccer such as Respect in Soccer, Making Ethical Decisions, Making Headway, Safe Sport and Rule of Two
  • Aspirations to complete Canada C License if not already completed
  • 1-3 years’ experience coaching
  • BFSA will support coaches with their licenses, but these must be approved by BFSA before registering
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to work in Ontario, Canada
  • Must have a valid Vulnerable Sector Check within the past 2 years
