The Force Academy Player Uniform Bundle from Absolute Soccer includes home and away game kits, training kits, tracksuit, and bag.

Per our policy and procedures, players are REQUIRED to only wear the training kit to practices and no other articles of clothing, including old uniforms, game uniforms, etc. If a player arrives at practice or games in the wrong kit, they will be asked to sit and not participate.

Each player is required to have the following:

  1. Two (2) sets of game uniforms (one white and one black). These are purchased separately from academy registration fees.
  2. One (1) training uniform (black), which can be purchased separately from academy registration fees.

  • Shin guards covered with socks are required for a player to be permitted on the pitch for any Force Academy directed programs.
  • Cleats: Soccer cleats are required for all outdoor (and indoor turf) Force Academy field events, including tryouts
  • Indoor Shoes: During the fall/winter season, clean footwear are required.
  • Accessories: All accessories, including jewelry, watches, bracelets, and glasses must be removed for all Force Academy practices and games. Earrings that can not be removed must be taped.

Branded Attire

There is branded Force Academy clothing available for players and supporters through our uniform supplier, Puma. These items are available through our store.

Note: For 2024/2025 season, only new players will need to order uniforms. Existing players will not.

Initial Number Assignment
Each player is assigned a number at the time that they register as a player within our program. We do our best to allow that player to keep their number throughout their playing time but in instances where a player moves up and another player already has that number, the new player will need to change.

Number Change Requests
We appreciate that all players would like to have specific numbers, but is is regrettably not possible due to the number of players, and numbers being attached to players from the time that they initially join the club.

If you have questions related to number assignments, please email us at admin@forcesoccer.ca.

All soccer games are played in the rain. If it is raining please proceed to your game. Only Referees (for U8+) or field conveners can make a decision to cancel games at the field at game time. If fields are closed by the town or local authority, Force Academy will notify coaches and publish updates on Power Up. Please ensure that you set postmaster@powerupsports.com as a safe email address so that it does not get caught in spam filters.

We will also post to our Instagram (@forcesoccer_) with any last-minute cancellations.

Force Soccer Academy uses a mobile and web application called PowerUp to handle all scheduling, communication, etc. for our competitive and development teams. Please ensure that you set postmaster@powerupsports.com as a safe email address so that it does not get caught in spam filters.

Upon successful registration for a team, you will be able to view:

  1. Practice and game schedules
  2. Team rosters, including contact information for coaches and managers
  3. Messages, chat and news

Note: There are some features that are only accessible from the website. Including updating player profile information like adding Ontario Soccer numbers, etc.

As an inclusive soccer club, Force Academy is built on the foundation of good sportsmanship towards our teammates and other teams, and the importance of players and parents having positive and supportive attitudes.

We encourage our older players to explore opportunities to achieve coaching and referee qualifications that can lead to paid opportunities and volunteer hours that meet high school requirements.

We also encourage and support off-field team building activities.

Players and parents should ensure that they have read and understood our Zero Tolerance Policy and the latest Policies & Procedures.

The schedules will all be posted in PowerUp. The entire schedule may not always be immediately available (i.e. you may only see October, then November and December will be visible a few weeks later).

The locations and times may change slightly, but the days of the week you train will remain the same once set for the season.

Important: If you do not see any games in the schedule, it is because we have not received the information from the league yet. For the fall/indoor season, games usually start in mid/late October for competitive, and late October/early November for grassroots/development.

Please always check your schedule in PowerUp prior to any practice or game.

You will be expected to report attendance for each training and game session. This helps the coaches to plan accordingly.

Note: PowerUp will lock attendance if you try and report attendance within 48 hours of a team event. Please ensure you are reporting attendance well in advance of this timeline or you will not be able to do so.

The team Chat function on Power Up will allow you to communicate with other players and parents on the team, and the Coach. This is a great resource to use!

We appreciate that open communication with coaches is important. If you wish to speak with your coach, we ask that you try to not do it during practices as many coaches are involved with multiple teams.

If you need to chat with them, please reach out on PowerUp and schedule a time that works best for both of you.

If you or your player have any questions or concerns, we ask that you reach out in this order:

  1. Schedule time to speak with your coach.
  2. Speak to the assigned technical lead for your program.
  3. Email admin@forcesoccer.ca which will reach management.
